Link please, i'd love a new brain. Preferably one that gives me ultra fast learning capabilities, outstanding mathematical capabilities, a monumental fountain of general knowledge, the gift of the gab & anything I may have missed.

Nice - love my 130X. Also hate it. Depends on whether it's being good or not! Just keep the tail rotor out of the grass, and keep a supply of tail gears (or upgrade to all-metal)

All the postman brought me was my invitation to a Driver Awareness Course. Don't know why, I was quite aware of my speed - that's why I hit the brakes when I saw he radar van (albeit not quickly enough evidently ... )

It comes with all metal gears apart from one plastic gear on the tail shaft. As it happens I got all the upgraded metal gears but seems I don't really need them. Also got the grommet upgrade but again its come with grommets on already...best charge up the 10 gens ace batts I also bought and get flying

That's changed then. It used to only have a single metal gear (the "B" gear). It's the "C" gear that normally strips (the one at the end of the TT). By grommets - I assume you mean the orange O rings? Yes - it comes with O rings on the stock machine, but the upgrade orange ones reduce the slop noticably over the stock ones.

I lied (just taken a proper look and the tail gears are both plastic.) Is it worth keeping one of them plastic as a sacrificial gear?

                          • A Scorpion HK3 4035 to replace the Kontronik Pyro in my Logo. Why would i do that?

The Pyro is 450kv and the Scorp is 330kv, I want to permanently set it up for low headspeed long duration flying, I can break 12 minutes of lazy 3D on 4000mah packs cant wait to try it out, should have more torque as im not running the motor and ESC at such low throttle settings.

Now i have an excuse to buy a heli for the Pyro...
