  • Rave gov sensor mounting?

    Whats the best way to go about this?

    If anyone has any pics of how you have mounted your gov sensor on the rave id appreciate seeing them.
    Im using a multigov so pics of that would be helpful please.

    I've used a metal bracket and epoxied it to the plastic clutch stack mount, then used heat shrink to retain the sensor to the metal bracket. This way you can still split the clutch stack mount should you need to do a bearing replacement.

    Mines something similar to how it's mounted on this thread, 2nd picture

    he other option you could try is to mount the magnet on the main gear, as there's a recess for the magnet in it, and put the sensor near the rear of the frames to pick up the magnet. Then on the Multigov you'd just need to set the ratio at 1:1 as the main gear turns at headspeed.

      Hi Tony this is how I did Jacks simple really futaba sensor two small holes drilled in the frame and two small self tappers with a drop of Cyno,works a treat.

        I think thats the route ill be taking glen, looks much simpler than mounting to the clutch bell.
