  • Post Count

Just noticed my post count has gone down significantly.

Don't know when it happened or why?

    Any ideas Stuart?

I know Stuart had a problem with the web site a few days ago.

I PM'd him and he explained.

So Jamez will again beat me to 1000 posts but since we are not allowed to discuss such things I will leave it there.

    Cheers

PS. Fitted my Align regulator and Lipo a couple of nights ago. Looks cool

Or on RunRyder (hawk, hawk, spit)
        Janek

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

          This isn't Runryder.

Stuart had a genuine problem with the site and the post count was 're-synced' when the database was moved over.

No problem and certainly not a conspiracy.

When the site got a glitch last weekend I had to re-install various modules to re-build the forum and posts and part of the process was to run a script that re-calculated the post count per member. However, when the transition from phpNuke to vBulletin took place very old posts dropped off with a pruning system. Thus when the system re-calculated the totals these posts from ages ago were not present and thus peoples posts counts were adjusted. Its not something I can fix as I have nothing to match up to.

I don't delete unless asked too by the thread originator. Its not my policy to be anything like RR aka tossa.
            Cheers

Sorry Stuart, didn't know you were about.

I tried to explain but you did a much better job.

Thanks for your hard work behind the scenes.

              Much appreciated.

              Cheers
