    Pipe cleaning???

    Hi guys, just busy doing a bit of general winter maintenance and clean up on my fleet of helis. Busy doing my Rappy Titan as i speak. What im wondering is... what you guys would use to clean your pipes/mufflers? My rappy zimmerman pipe has little brown spots on it off the fuel burning up. I normally just use brasso to re-shine my exhausts. Unfortunately thats not gonna shift the burnt fuel. Theres not loads of it on there but im just seeing if i can get the whole pipe up new looking. What are you guys using? Any ideas?

    Never done it myself, but I understand Brasso works pretty well.

            It's a chrome and metal polish - great for exhausts.

            Quick google search turned up these guys:

            Or there's always halfords.

              Get it from halfords or any car shop that does paints, it costs a bit but you dont need much when doing a exhaust so its lasts for ages

                Normally I buy it from Halfords myself, but that little search I just did turned up trumps
                2x 100g tubes for £5!!
                Halfords... 1x 75g tube for £5.95!

                I know where my next lot is coming from now

                  I agree that Autosol is great, but for more stubborn stuff, I give the pipe a good rub with a wet Steel Wool Soap Pad first, then finish it off with Autosol.

                        Ultrasonic cleaning tank and PCB cleaner (safewash) industrial deturgant and agitation cleans inside and out....

                        (also useful on engines) an alternitive is a handfull of washing power and hot water in an ultrasonic cleaner..
