  • Daftest Accessory??

What's the daftest accessory you have ever bought to fuel your heli hobby?

To kick it off, I have just bought an M reg Land Rover Disco, partly because I cannot get onto my local flying fields during the wet / autumn /winter. It will be also useful when towing my trailers and caravan, but I have two other cars. The LR will only for beating around in the winter though. Totally stupid waste of money, but I guess I will get most of my money back if I don't use it very much

When I was after a new car, I took muddy flying fields into account and bought a Freelander 2, but I do live in Sussex and have a collie.
            Clones are bad

            .... that includes Align ones

I'm using just slinging the dogs into the back of the LR and not worrying about it as a justification.....it's almost working

during the day I drive either a bike or an Audi A4 neither of them very good for the transportation of models, so just after I got my first 50 heli I got a Previa, basically just for the models.

most seam to think im potty

I've got a Ruger .22 Semi-Auto. I've also got a .17Mach2 kit for it from the US. Just not allowed to build it as it then becomes a semi auto mach2 (illegal in the UK) and ... not saying I have ever built it but .... you'd have an awesome .17 semi auto bunny gun with flat trajectory out to 200m

I also have a Sako .22 , and a Sako in .17HMR and a Remy in .17REM (for those that don't know .... the .17Mach2 cal round is the same size as a .22 but travels at around 2000ft per second and is obviously a smaller calibre.....the .17HMR round is around twice the length of a .22 BUT is still a .17 calibre round but you can get it in hollow tip and again is pretty flat out to 250m travelling fairly rapidly of course there's the daddy .... .17REM a 4000+ft/sec round in a cartridge around the same length and size as a .246 ('bout 2 inches high) but *still* .17 calibre and that is just the mental nuts.... it's designated as a fox round if you look on the DEFRA or Gov. websites)

Got a few others and 5 shotties too
9000 acres to play with them on Belonging to around 6 farmers. (2 of them own 3000 a piece)

... Yeah was ****ed off last night...getting home in the dark and thought maybe I'd go for some bunnies but then i noticed it was a full moon too so I stayed in and watched Will and Grace

apologies for the off topic hijack.

sound like the guy who owns the farm behind me, he stoped all shooting because his missus liked to see the rabbits in the feilds

didnt last long, they are now out there most friday nights looking for the rabbits in the feilds with a big light and a bang stick
Why is the ground to high
