  • Mounting a charger on the wall ?

    Hey Guys.

Weird question but would it be okay to mount a lipo charger (LX40) vertical on the wall, I'm asking as I need to save a bit of space in my small work cupboard, and obviously i'd lay the lipo flat.

    Thanks

Can't think of any reason why not. I've never seen any instructions for a charger which say it must be operated horizontally!

Same here. Can't see it being a problem good way to save space!

Charger doesn't care about orientation, and gravity will push the electrons down faster! (joke...). The important things are:

Make sure the charger has clearance for airflow behind it
The Batteries are in a secure fire safe position - ie. away from the wall on/in a fireproof material, so you may want to fit a balance plug extension

Horizontally or vertical doesn't matter. There are no specific instructions for a charger which say it must be operated horizontally or vertically!
