  • Can't stop spending money..

Heliaddicts is definitely the right phrase! I can't stop spending since taking up flying heli's, i've just ordered one of these from Fastlads

BLH1699 Eflite Blade 450 Aluminium Carry Case

A bit sad maybe, but at least i can carry my blade to the field without feeling self conscious about carrying a cardboard box plastered with pictures of a toy heli through town!!

I challenged myself to buy most of my heli stuff secondhand, not sure if I actually save money though, just seem to buy twice as much!

Don't forget the plastic bags and bin liner for taking it home in. Something magnetic can be useful as well. I've thought about a metal detector but I don't know if I'd need a cheapie or a good one. I used to think helis were expensive, now I realise I'm just short of money.

The way I fly, plastic surgery is inevitable.

It plateaus out. I have really cut back on Heli orders this year, there's no need for them.

As long as you buy right, look after your gear; you get a fair amount of your money back anyway.

i have been looking at 600/700 size electric heli's for my next one but have just recently found a little lust for a nitro heli....cos you can just put tank after tank thro it however i'd eventually like to do some aerial video stuff so i think i'd be best to stick to electric...

Nitro is a lot cheaper to start off with compared to electric.

To make electric work properly, without hassle; you need to spend some serious money IMO. Saying that, it will still work out cheaper in the long run.

                              An Align 600efl sounds ideal
