Cellpro PL6, Fusion 600w PSU, 4 balance boards and a load of xt60 connectors (depends which connectors you use on your packs) My friend bought it all for me as he knows a lot more about this than me, so I'm not the best person to advice on this. But I'm very happy with the set up. There are other options that are probably cheaper and better suited to your needs. But that would be a fairly future proof set up as you expand your fleet

Dx7s paid for already, would you stick with 3gx though? Read a lot of people not liking it

No..... Don't stick with the 3gx imo. If you have the money for a Vbar get one.... but the current beastx software is very good. The ar7200bx is also very very good. If the bx gets software updates that relate to the most recent beast software then i would get that. I have one on my 600efl pro and its brilliant. Tbh it seems to fly better than the standard Beast. Very solid unit. Most of the top retailers will swap out the 3gx for you. Thats what i did when i bought my 550, got the 3gx swapped for a beast in the kit.

For the money they sell for, you may as well at least try it.

I currently have a 500 EFL Pro and rate it very highly.

Had the original 500,Logo 400 and Atom 500,prefer the EFL to all of them.

There maybe another option here, which is where more decisions are, could do a raptor 50, plus 450 pro v2, and mcpx, all for under the budget, that seems pretty tempting to be honest...

                    as I said, more decisions

Humm i have owned a 500 in the past and i would say it is a great heli for hovering and general 3D but i sold it a few months back because i was bored of it, However recently i missed the 500 class helis so i bought a msh protos and i have to say it is in a whole different league you cant compare them the protos is a far nicer "flying" heli that the 500. I agree they dont crash as well but why buy a heli to crash ?
If you notice there are no people who own a protos and dont like it and you will notice they arnt for sale very often .... there is a reason for that

                        just my opinion of course!

i bought a trex 500 about 7 months ago, only after a few weeks i gotta admit i regretted not going up to the 550 or 600.

if you can afford the bit extra on the packs id go a little bigger

I have decided on a trex 550, it will be a 2nd hand one off here, I will get the funds together over the next few days, and then get on with finding a charger and psu, in the end, the slightly bigger size, and the price was a selling point for me
