600EFL Pro Rx Lipos - What are you using?

I'm using the Turnigy 2000mah 20C 2S lipos on my Pro. They only fit on the top section where the ESC normally goes (on most Pro's). I have found that the canopy of rubbing on the lipo through the plastic! This is obviously not good as it will eventually cause a fire! I've looked at different packs and found some others that are shorter (the ones I have are 100mm long!) at about 85mm which should do the trick. But they're Turnigy again and will take forever to arrive.

Just wondering what everyone else is using? I don't want to use life packs or anything, just lipos.

I don't know how quickly lipos drain, but if it's anything like my 2300mah LiFe pack you will only get 3-4 flights each charge. Lipos may work differently though.

It sits in the side of the front bit on mine though, not on top. Can't imagine you'd have any trouble with it though.

I used an 2 cell opti 2150 placed on the nose. Dont use it any more as there is limited space when fitting full size vbar. Just running the cc bec from one of the flight packs.

No RX pack here, I run a CC Pro Bec on 1x 6s flight pack.

5 flights on my 700e v2 with an opti 2s 2150 took 843mA! This is running HV MKS servos which are obviously a good deal more efficient than the Aligns I used previously, so it is all down to equipment choice.

It sits in the side of the front bit on mine though, not on top. Can't imagine you'd have any trouble with it though.

How do you get it to fit in the side? I tried that with mine but it was too long to fit in there and i think the 2 packs are about the same length.

I've just put my lipo there and it fits fine! I must have been on a 'must for perfect' mission when I was building it.

Now everything has moved around again I'll have to re-do the wiring to make everything tidier!
