After losing a model recently we've been looking at tracking devices.
So far this on has come out on top.

The starter pack is £99 with 4 locator tags - extra tags cost £10 each. You can run 24 tags on each locator handset.
Now its a bit out of budget for most people, but what about at club level ? If the club was to buy one with 24 tags the cost would be £300. That works out at £12.50 per model.
I might be able to get a better price on a purchase of 5 sets but at this stage is it something you'd spend a few quid on ?
The range on this unit is about 150meters which is plenty for finding a downed machine in a corn field. The tag batteries last about 7 months. Tags are about the same size as a small gyro but much thinner.
