Helicommand 3A / DX8 set up

Hi Newbie Here,
Can someone please help me im having trouble setting the switch on my dx8 to control the HC3A, I have managed to get it to switch off ( glowing red light) and go into position mode ( glowing green light) but cant figure how to switch it to horizontal mode (glowing orange/yellow) i am currently using Aux2/GOV switch, the heli is flying as it should with the hc switched off and does hold position when switched on.
I would be grateful for any help anyone can give me.
