  • Hanging helis???

Hi guys... just moved house and im trying to get my fleet of helis out of the way. They are starting to clutter the pace and the other half isnt too happy about it. Im looking at some how hanging them up on one of the walls in the spare room we have. I have no garage or anything so thats ruled out. The only place that they can be kept is this spare room. Anyone have any ideas??? Ive seen AndersUK hang his up and if your reading this mate im keen to know how ya done it ??? Anyways, keen to here any ideas you guys have. Pics would be great.
    Thanks

    mine have always hung .

in what was the cupboard for the water tank before the combi.
i just got 2 screws for each heli and then put a bungie through the skids .
    job done.

also this puts the engine upright (on most helis ) which keeps any unburnt fuel away from the bearings.

There was a tread on hanging your heli a while back
You can get clips you screw to the wall and the skids clip into them

What I've done is get a piece of board and fitted it to the wall. Then I've bought those red plastic coated hooks (large) you get at Homebase or B&Q and screwed them into the board at slight angles downwards and outwards. If you space them right the rear skid bows drop onto the hooks nicely. One in each rear corner.

I used one of those kitchen hanging rails (from Ikea) which is great for a small helicopter (T Rex 450 or so)
