  • Sweaty thumbs & a flapy Logo??

Yea weird title but it's exactly that. Firstly i flew today & it was just too hot (at 6pm) & i was worried my thumbs were going to slip off the sticks. Now other than getting some uncomfortable spikey sticks has anyone tried talc'ing their hands first??, I was going to give it a try.

The other thing is my Logo has recently developed a weird flappy noise most noticable in tic tocs & i've no idea what it is. For those who are familiar with Laurence's logo it's making the same weird flappy sound his does. I thought maybe a paddle was out of line but it's not the same sound. Maybe a bit of tape had flapped up but no. Also for some reason it felt like it lacked power today?? No it's not my Turnigy lipo's as it was fine on saturday (apart from the flappy noise)
Yes the big sigpic is coming back

Could it be the head dampers softening in the heat allowing more play than usual ?????

I did 'think' about dampning but that's all i did lol, I can get extra hard but they're for the FBL head.

might go down with the mower to the field one day soon. Too hot though, to drag the mower through the field up to the flying patch. Getting a bit too long for the tail blades now init.

As for your flappy noise - best of luck with that I am sure you will get to the bottom of it soon. Have you tried reprogramming the ESC for peace of mind it is not some weird spurious setting that may be causing you a little less power / wrong throttle range or timing?? Probably not this though.

Could be the blades making the flapping noise.

I had a set of Spin Blades delaminating on the trailing edge and they sounded odd compared to all the other blades and that was a flapping type noise.
