          If you look on Ebay or Google Low Voltage Alarm you'll find one of these:-

          1S-8S Lipo Battery Tester Low Voltage Checker Indicator LED Buzzer Alarm RC | eBay

          I bought one from GiantCod that was 0.1V out, but still better than nothing and then bought 3 from Epatchpark. I can't find him at the moment. These alarms are really good and work. More reliable than a timer. You get the maximum flight time and if something starts taking more current ( and there are lots of ways of screwing that up - belt, pinion, motor, esc) the alarm will tell you before you damage your battery or reach LVC.
