expensive postage

i ordered some bits from century on the 17th and payed a whopping £8 carrier cost recieved an email from the carrier to the effect it will be delivered monday, reckon it would have been quicker by 2nd class royal mail, so is really worth that extra cost,

All RM prices have gone up... How do you think it would be quicker by 2nd class?

had stuff delivered quicker and a bit cheaper, oh that has been royal mail, looks like i,ll be looking at postage cost a bit more closer in the future.

One depends what time you ordered on thursday? Might not of been in time to send till Friday so Monday is comPletely acceptable and RM would not or been any quicker at all.
£8 is a lot for courier though unless it was a kit then that's also acceptable?

Posted a load of parcels this morning, prices ranged from 9 to nearly 12 quid. Will be added a lot more for postage in the future. Anything with a signature seems to be getting close to 5 quid, even for something quite small.

I've found the same, in future I am advertising + postage instead of including it
