  • Revolectrix MPA Parallel Board

Just found these on Revolectix web-site DEANS - EC5

Ideal for the MPA Board and saves making up adaptor leads if your batteries have EC5 connectors. For some reason I can't find anyone in Uk who stocks them.

Got my Deans to 4mm bullets from hobbyking for the very same thing, think they were $1.20 each or thereabouts plus shipping, work out too cheap to even consider making myself.

There is a new version of the MPA board that now has wires soldered in ready for you to fit your preferred connectors to.

What the hell possessed them to use deans connectors on this board??

Probably because deans type connectors can be surface mounted, where EC5's etc can't natively be surface mounted....

At least they have that new board where you can mount your own on the wires.

I use this with out ant issues what so ever, Yesnthe ec5's are the right way round its just they use a tube as it obviously can be surface mounted easier. Its not fused like the other board but i have not had a single issue and always keep an eye on things while charging. It does state 30 amp max @6s and does not even get warm at i can only charge upto 20 amp but had no problems.great board that has saves me loads of time oh and its like £6

Do you have a link for these?
                          Can't seem to find them.

That's a bit like saying seat belts and air bags are a waste of money in a car, I've never crashed and never needed them ...

If you do crash then you'll be glad they are there, same goes for the fuses. If you do everything right every time you don't need them, but on the one occasion where you don't do everything right you'll be very glad they are there ...
