  • G-View?

Why was my G-View supplied with no instructions? Why are there none on Curtis's web site?

Thanks for that but I'm going to use it on an ATG at the moment. I can't seem to get to even acknowledge the ATG is there yet. Tried pressing button for 6 secs which was suggested by someone at the field but it does nothing at all but display a splash screen.

Just had another play, mine just refuses to go into some sort of setup mode, just sits there with the initial splash screen for as long as you want

          G-view.... Atg V1 - V2

Works with both, but the menus are all mixed up with a version one.

Version one ATG must have the G-view plugged in before powering up, and the P button must be pressed during the power up. It takes at least 6 seconds to boot into the menu, maybe even longer.

Once you are into the menus the parameter screens you need will be out of order compared to the later V2 units. All the same menus are there, just not in perfect order. There are many screens that are programming code, etc. between the menu items we actually use.

The same settings are available on both units, just the V2 is streamlined and easier than the V1.

          (Thanks Tyler)

              Update

If it is still in the box there is a small dot on the box with a 2 in it indicating it is a V2 ATG. If it is not in the box you will not be able to tell until you get to the end of the programming, the V2 has an additional option at the end, there is ATG mode (fast flashing red/green), normal mode (no light) and dual mode (slow red green flashing) with dual mode being the additional option. In dual mode you set the unit to a switch that will control the Aux channel you have chosen to change the head speeds with. Now one side of the switch is active throttle mode (fast red flashing) and the other side of the switch is normal mode (fast green flashing) giving you the option to try both modes in flight without changing the programming of the unit.
