Taking a RC Helicopter abroad ?

Hi people

Going to turkey this year and I want to take the Blade 130x (when I get it), but I'm just wondering what kind of regulations there are when taking a helicopter to another country like turkey.

I'll be taking the Dx6i.

I'm not worried about leaving the UK with it because I know there probably won't be any problems with it over here, but I don't know what the turkish will be like, in their airport, when you have to put all your hand luggage on the X-ray thing, I'm a bit worried they confiscate it or something.

What do you think ??


Again, I'll be taking it as hand luggage.

LiPos must not go in the hold, thats what I know - so you might be inspected as they will show up quite odd on the xray I guess ...

and for confiscation, usually airports offer ship-home services for items that else would get confiscated - but it usually costs a fortune
