    Did my first proper attempt at cutting the grass this weekend and the 600 almost didnt live to tell the tale!

    how close have you been and survived?

    I'm not satisfied grass cutting unless the blades are completely green

              What's the best size heli for grass cutting? I'm only doing it on Phoenix at the moment, but I thought there would be a ground effect, but can't get it on the sim. It should make grass cutting a bit easier. Perhaps there isn't much ground effect over grass until you've cut it?

                    Amateur !! Nothing less than mud on the tips counts !!

                    Seriously though it's a good party trick but I soon grew out of it.

                    Do a perfect backwards inverted eight , that will impress me much more, still green blades are top fun . Lol

                        Ive only ever experienced the ground effect with fixed pitch helis.A nice 600 is great for grass cutting as its cheaper to fix than a 700!
