What type of gyro

Hi folks am building air wolf heli and using a raptor 50 for the inside all servos are jr and reciever is a jr rs10ds was wondering what would be the best gyro for this set up .

Best tail-only gyro about these days in my opinion - the Spartan DS760.

You can't get them new any more, but there are a few about 2nd hand.

Align 760 works a treat, but dont get a 780.

There are certainly refurbished Quarks going cheap directly from Spartan and they are good value for money.

The thing I've always liked about the DS760 is the PC interface which makes setup so pure and simple. The Quark can utilise this facility as well, but you need an extra gadget to do it, as you do with the DS760. Both gyros will work well, but both need their own gadget to get into the internal settings and make them sing.

Had a Quark on the tail of my 450 & for the whole time I flew it the tail never missed a beat once. Cracking gyro for the money

gy401 or the gp750!!!!

for a scale heli the 401 is a great gyro
the quark will work very well
the futaba gy520 is another good gyro

I have a GP750 on my rappy, it flies fine with and without scale body
