I love nitro. I think it is great, and I would choose it over electric any day of the week. But I concede that electric can be way more powerful than nitro, and I think that video shows it. They really weren't that close in my opinion.

As I say, it still wouldn't make me go to electric on a 90 size heli, not unless I was rolling in money, and even then I would still have nitros.

looked like the 120 had it on the last one to me, was he falling into asleep on the first couple he was about half a second behind on reaction time lol, good fun though and we all know the 120 wont beat a fully loaded electric and its silly to even compare them, but its the most powerful nitro engine at the moment.

it was just a bit of fun,good craic,allthough im in the process of swapping out motors in the srimok,think the one in there is a little tired,should have run lighter batteries as well

What was the srimok motor?

Still quits close but if you are going to compare the very best nitro to electric then I would like to see a scorpion le ( or any of the 10kw jobs) motor in the mix.

The new 4540 le is out now so the advent of the 20kw motor in now here. God knows how long your batteries will last though or how much money it will cost to convert 14s 16s18s! I really don't mind or care which is better but I do love the competition! Reminds me of the v8/v10 f1 wars in the 80s.

its a worn out old scorpion 4035-500..lol..im going to stick a pyro 520 in there before the wkend,nice shiny new one,i know what you mean about the le motor,if it was a straight fit in the srimok id try it but it involves shimming a few bits and id rather not,the pyro should take it easy,or a hk3-4035-500,got a pyro spare so thats what its having,jamin_00 has got an le on the goblin so once the sun comes out we will get a vid of that

the more i look at the vid i reckon it was 4-0 to the srimok,it was farther out in the last run,need a camera farther back to get a true showing of the srimok's awesome power
