Rubbish hand fuel pump

I got a cheap hand fuel pump (Smartech brand). It would never self prime and leaked a bit. After a while it stopped leaking and worked (wouldn't prime though, but got round that by squeezing the bottle). Now its leaking bad and doesn't work. I had it all to bits and can't fix it. Had to scrounge someone elses down the field today.

So what is a good brand of hand crank fuel pump and where to get one from - one that works and will last? Maybe someone has a spare old one that is known to work well and want to sell it me for a fiver...condition/appearance irrelevant if it works and doesn't leak (30% is too expensive to pour away!).

I have a K&S860 Hand Fuel Pump, which I got from Midland. I have had it for nearly three years and its still going strong

I've had a k&s and a jp hand pump both have leaked from the start, best one i've found so far is the hanger 9 pump, even guaranteed for a whole year

You must have abused your K&S pump to make it leak (much like you do with your heli's )

Six shooter, the simplest one with good flow rates and no gaskets.

I went through a few months of buying pumps that all seemed to leak form new:

Ripmax
J Perkins
Fast Lads
Irvine

Then at one of the shows I got a Hanger 9 pump and BINGO it it has not leaked in the 4/5 months I have had it.

My tip is do not pump them too fast, the Fast Lads ones is my second choice as I may of broken that one from pumping too fast.
