  • what tx for blade 130x

well if it gets good reviews ill be buying a blade 130x just need to know what tx a dx7 or a dx4e dx4e is way cheaper and has all the switches you need

I'd say a Dx7s or Dx8. At the very least a DX6i. The Dx4e isn't remotely programmable so you wont be able to tone it down to learn or sharpen it up to suit your needs etc. If you don't intend to ever upgrade then I guess the Dx4 will be fine, otherwise invest in a better TX.

      "Requires a 6+ channel computer DSM2®/DSMX® transmitter"

So the DX4e is out for sure.

I'd say DX6i minimum, DX7 or DX8 if you intend to progress/stay in the hobby.

There are some great deals on DX8 at the moment. Transmitter only for £189 online. Worth considering, although the DX7 is a great bit of kit too.

Me: I'm very happy with the DX8.

You're looking at £159 for a DX7 so not much in it between these transmitters.

If budget is tight and this is one of your first helis, why not consider something like a Blade MSRx, a Blade SR120 or if you have some skills already a Blade MCPx. All will help keep the budget down a bit.

If you get hooked, you'll soon be wanting to spend more! :-)

£300 for an excellent TX and reportedly brilliant heli seems mighty cheap to me, compared to other prices in this hobby.

DX8 was £169.99 from inwood models the last 6 weeks but have now put there price up to £179.99, still a good price though.
