My cellpro 10S blew up and in a panic I hurredly bought a 10XP replacement as I was on my way to Italy for 2 weeks with my trex500 hidden in the car (Thanks to Trevor from midland for meeting me on the road one friday evening with it!).
Getting familiar with this charger I'm appreciating the extra features wich include:
nicad nimh and lead acid charging
lipo discharge to store
Discharge to store level is somewthign I always hankered after in a lipo charger. Now I can find out if not leaving lipos fully charged for long periods does increase their life.
10-30V input for high charge rates (my 10S used to throttle back as my hacked up PC power supplt dropped slightly below 12V).
Only downside is I need to add some extra wires to my MCPX charging adaptor as the charger needs the discharge lead connection as well as the balance tap.
Not sure what happened to my 10S but it involved blowing the input fuse as I disconnected it from my car battery in all the wrong order (from the power supply before the batteries). Someting made a bit of a "phut" and it turned out to be not just the fuse.
