What on earth is this guy on about..... there arent any issues with the latest kits

The pullys have now been replaced, secondary shaft bolt has been revised and replaced.

There is no longer and issue with the incedense (clearence of the boom) it has been rectified, only a few had this issue anyway.

As for the canopy bolts coming loose Ive never had the issue.....nor heard of it untill now...(maybe there not eating there spinach LOL)....in as for the damage to the edges this has happens on many helis, my simple fix is to re-inforce with glass fibre the issue is then gone.

The rubber edging is just a preference mod I like it and helps protect the edges its not a flaw.

Not quite sure what the ''the the the the the dremel fix for the canopy'' is about LOL

The Goblin is an awesome machine nothing flies anywhere near like it, nothing looks like it and to be fair its the most advanced heli going with some actual new innovations which IMHO is long over due, there is too much of the same floating about....

...The Goblin has set the benchmark!

Yes my N5 probably had faults in the first batch, but the goblin costs double what that cost!

I know if I had paid £800 for something and I had to resort to using tape to modify it so I didn't boom strike, or have to dremel stuff to stop the canopy failing off, all before I got it in the air I wouldn't be happy. I wouldn't buy a top of the range car and just accept any faults as being a symptom of the first batch, as that's what always happens, safe in the knowledge that the next batch will have problems sorted! For £800, being a premium, top of the range, ultra performance heli, for me, niggles like this are unacceptable. These things shouldn't need fixing, they should be right and fit for purpose when you buy them. Instead of giving the helis to the likes of Tareq et al, perhaps some proper r+d should have been carried out rather than let the end user be the companies unpaid beta tester!

I have an early BMW m5, the 5 litre v10 one.

It had a few problems with clutch etc and quality control compared to the later ones.

I don't care though - it's still a 500 horsepower 4 door spacious 200 mph capable saloon that you can travel in complete comfort with.

Top end cars have millions spent on them for design and testing. Our model Helis is effectively a cottage industry with minimal money available for R&D and testing. The Dremel bit you are referring to is just one guys take on a mod he wishes to do. Just like drilling and threading the front canopy mount on your N5 to allow the canopy bolts to bottom out. I have no need or wish to alter my mounts till QuickUK do a magnetic mount as they are so easy to use. I think that your expectations are a bit high if you think that £800 kit should be fault free in its first batch run. Don't forget that that price includes over £100 worth of main and tail blades. That brings the kit to around £670 which is not an expensive kit compared to an Xxtreme, TDR, Kasama nitro etc. I do however believe it is not acceptable to have to put a piece of tape under the boom clamp to get the boom at the correct angle. But, it is being addressed, and future kits will have that sorted. It only showed up after the first production run was complete, and the mass produced kits were already distributed. We are talking here of an alloy plate being .2mm out of sink to the carbon boom. That is very small for a hand made boom. As for the replacement gear, at least SAB were onto it straight away once it became clear that a problem existed. Compair that to the Castle Cremations ESC's that took over a year before they admitted a fault. Also all the Align parts that get updated that we have to pay for like the 700 main gear when it first came to the market.
