  • Powerlab 8 Charger

I'm thinking of up-grading my charger and getting a PL8, but don't know much about parallell charging. I've got 2x 6s 2700 and 2x6s 3300 all with the same type of balance leads. Would i be able to charge them all at the same time ? My power supply is a 13.8v 40A.

I've also got 2x 3s 2100 and 2x 3s 2250 but some have XT leads and some have FP leads. Would I be able to charge these 4 together assuming I could buy the appropriate leads/ balance boards to suit the PL8 ?

I have the PL8 and use a Parallel charging board. Ideally the Lipos need to be of similar cells and close to the same mah. However, the PL8 balances all the cells in all the packs to the same voltage. So in theory chargin different mah shouldn't be much of a problem.
    Here is my set up.

Well think I'm about to order a PL8 soon, but before I do just a couple of questions if anyone can help. If I get the Revo parallel board which is fifty odd quid can you just plug the balance leads from the batteries and charge or do you have to connect the main battery wires to the board as well? Some of my batts have deans connectors and some EC5's. Also does it complicate the charging process if I charge 6s 2700 and 3300 at the same time? Any help would be really appreciated.

Ah, right see what you mean. Does the white lead come with the charger or board?

No the white balance lead doesn't come with the charger or MPA board, they are about £4.
