    and more from HH:

Durability is better than we had expected. Still not an mCP X, but much more like the mCP X than a larger heli such as the 300 X. Tail is the vulnerable area, but I won't call it weak.

I'm just a beginning CCPM guy, and I love this heli. Feels more stable and more locked-in than the mCP X. I can see it better. Less affected by wind. I don't have the skills to take advantage but it has a LOT more power than the mCP X. I also don't have the skills to take advantage of the tail, but tail performance is clearly in a different league than the mCP X.

I can't do aerobatics let alone 3D (maybe an occasional flip), and I get about 4 min on a pack. James can push it hard and gets at least 3 min, sometimes a little longer.

I think this heli is pretty much what you guys have been asking for. And yes, it's likely to hit the street about the same time as the 300X.

Defo getting one of these, looks like it'll do proper tic tocs so I can practice for real instead of on the Sim LOL. Will be interested to see more news regarding release date and UK pricing.

Right, was going for a 300x but this is now the next heli I get. Looks great!

Looks nice, tho it's doing all the stuff I've seen a brushless MCPX doing before apart from the tic tocs, but I think Kyle Dahl did them in his MCPX video, except this thing will probably cost money every crash, and will probably still get blown around like an MCPX. I'm not sure. Tho as the affliction dictates, I still want it. :-(

this seems very very similar in design/construction to the Walkera V120D01 i had for about 9 months (but not CP) :

New Walkera V120D01 4ch FLYBARLESS Rc Helicopter Review - YouTube

it was a fantastic little heli to learn on and crashed pretty well. The main shaft was pinned and it survived all but the worst of crashes. the parts i found myself replacing mostly were - skids, canopy and tail parts. it was especially heavy on the tail slider and rear TT gears, not because they broke, but beacause they are plastic and wore out and along with crash damage created unflyable slop.

i bought Walkera parts in bulk from HK (never got charged duty) which managed to keep the cost down....Blade spares fron the UK are not as cheap so if your going to fly (and crash) one of these.....you'd be best getting a few spares in stock before they sell out.

That's a good point. People can't even get skids for the MCPX, wonder what gear availability will be like for this thing.

Wonder if it will do autos, I'm not really interested if it won't......

Yeah right, it looks great! That said I'd still like to know its crash resistance. The biggest problem I have with HH gear is the availability and cost of spares, they simply price things way to high on the spares front, and that's if you can find them. If only they priced spare like align! At least with the mcpx a good bit of glue usually does the job and it's a great little heli, helped me get my inverted flight going and although I look at it and think wouldn't it be nice if you could do tic tocs etc, it still has a lot to teach me (inverted tail first circuits etc).

Damn thats another heli i am going to have to buy, as others have said, i hope HH can do something on the spare's front as it seems difficult getting spares for the MCPX let alone the others. And the price is for parts is pretty steep on some bits.

Finally a micro heli that is worth buying rather than the mcpx piece of junk

I guess it has beastx technology. Will keep an eye out for this one

Where do get that figure from? It's already being advertised on a couple of sites as £179 bnf.

Nope, has the same system as the MCPx which works brilliantly. Glad they haven't ruined with with SoggyX. ;P
