DFC HEAD on a 600 ESP

Ok I jumped the gun and got a 600 dfc head for my 600 ESP thinking it would drop straight on ...... It doesn't :-( the dfc mainshaft is not long enough for the lower Jesus bolt to line up in the main gear hub.
So I just tried a 600 3G mainshaft which is better but I can't get zero at midstick without lengthening the three servo links . My problem is that the ESP uses the metal elevator arm and I can't lengthen it anywhere near enough.
Has anyone got the dfc to work on this Heli ?????

I don't have experience of the 600e but I have fitted the DFC head to my 600N with the aluminium elevator arm, you'll have to shorten the mainshaft (fb or fbl shaft) and redrill it.Theres some info on this site and on helifreaks on the dimensions of the shaft mod, look under 600N tho'.

I also fitted quick uk longer swash balls(3) to the base of the swash to increase cyclic resolution.

My mate Crash Gordon has done it on his old 600e....he simply got an angle grinder out to cut down his 600e mainshaft and re-drilled the bolt hole....then he went even lower by cutting another shaft down and removing the hex threaded bar and just used threaded bar,hes completley bonkers though and i expect a boomstrike at any time lol
