  • 600 EFL - please can someone check my pitches etc...

    Hi,

I've just finished setting up my 600 (as far as the head is concerned), and I'm not 100% sure on whether I'm getting enough pitch or cyclic pitch.

    I am getting +- 11.5 degrees of pitch (I think 11.5 negative 12 positive)
around 8.5 degrees of aileron pitch
around 8 degrees of elevator pitch

If I increase the swash mix any more I get binding where the servo arm ball hits against the servo case. I am using the outer holes, with the long balls on the left/right servo, and short balls on the elevator servo, swash and grips. Is this correct? I've looked on HF and there seem to be about 10 different combinations of these lol.

Also, the links going from the swash to the grips are very short - no threads are visible at all.

I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

    thanks

Not having seen a 600efl in the flesh, your setup sounds about right- on my trex 550e I'am getting 8 degrees cyclic and plus/minus 12 degrees pitch,,, don't really think you would need more as it would be super twitchy !!, then again ,I remember your Logo 400 everything else you've stated sounds about right,,think I would try and get equal amount of pitch though,,,

I have my cyclic at 9 deg on my 600pro with no binding issues. Try moving your entire swash up a few mm on all three servos. You will then need to readjust the control arm pitch rods to get 0 deg at mid pitch. This should allow for greater blade deflection, just make sure that you don’t move it too far up so you bind on the top.
