I was gong to try golf gloves but can't find any matching pairs in JJB. The RH ones are scarce.
I found fingerless gloves seemed to freeze my fingers faster...maybe with just the thumb and first finger cut off might work better.

I wouldn't waste your money, golf gloves are useless. The thin leather just conducts heat away from your hands making them colder. They're full of holes so let the wind in to which compounds the problem.

I have the fingerless thinsulate woollen gloves but I couldn't get no with them I was still on planks last year and I kept getting then covered in fuel which makes them even colder smelly and generally not nice.

I have a some of those chemical hand warmers they were about £6 from millets for a pair and they are great last about an hour each and easy to recharge.

That and a flask of hot coffee which come under essential flight box kit anyway rain or shine.

Pity the gloves are short with no cuff.
Looks to me like this guy could fit a central heating system inside the Tx sticks. Fine control indeed but no chance of accurate 3D flying with sticks that long!

fingerless gloves or no gloves stick them back in my pockets when finished flying,

but hands are quite hardey as i work outside anyhow during sun, wet, snow conditions,

last night was the coldest night so far this autumn it was about -1.0.c last night,

nice frost on the sleepers when i finished this morning.

I've got a radio warm which keeps the pinkies cosy.
We have a club hut to shelter in with tea making facilities so keeping warm in winter isnt realy that difficult.

Sorry Andy I'm talking about the plank site FMFC
I've just been given the nod that things may be about to change regarding a heli ban & the constituition will be amended pending an AGM vote so things may be looking up for me.
