Governor. V bar vs jive

    Not sure if I understood your post. V-Bar can see all the transmitter inputs from the transmitter and compensate before any drop happens - in theory.

      Yes that will work on a nitro but electric is not a sliding scale the esc still has to adjust the timing etc to control the motor some escs are better than others if the esc governor is in adequate you are still having to use this but via the vbar the only difference is the esc is trying to govern a power output as opposed to a rpm request

        I've use the Vbar gov on my nitro and the Jive on my old 6HV and to be honest I couldnt tell the diffrence between them.

          I use VBar governor on my TDR and it works very well as far as I can tell after couple of flights. No bogging even at full collective, no tail kicks etc. Can compare to the jive though, never had one.

            i love my jive, never tried the v-bar gov though so cant compare. the jive does everything i need it to very very well so im happy. the koby on my 500 also has an excellent governor.
