Anybody tried Hacker Top Fuel Lipo's?

I was digging around to find the lightest 6s 4000mah lipo packs for my new Synergy e7 and i came across these:

TopFuel LiPo 30C-LIGHT 4000mAh 6S | LiPo 30C Light (NEW) | TopFuel LiPo + LiFe | Accus

They weigh just 615g each. They also do a 40C 3900mah version at the same weight. Flying these packs could save me almost 200 -300 g over similar sized lipos from other brands.

Has anyone had any experience of hacker lipos? How do they perform? There isn't much feedback around on these.

I've not seen these before, but if you are focused on weight, you can still do better than 615g

It does seem that not everyone makes a 4000 size so that does limit the choice a bit, OptiPower are 3500 or 4300 for example, but from the looks of things the FlightPower 40C Nano packs come in a bit lighter again at 559.2g

Thanks, i had been looking at FP lipos and must have misread the specs, i thought they were the heavy ones! Now i really will have a to try a set.

The 50C packs are heavier for sure, the 30C ones would be lighter again I expect but doesn't seem to be any of your size in stock at the moment.

40C is a good compromise in the middle.

Nice bonus is they ship with EC5 already fitted.

check fp ec5 as they come with cold/crap solder joints which will shut down a kontronik esc, rotor world did a test with those hacker battries think it was a two month write up with the logo 6003d

Always good advice to check any pre-fitted connector, but I think it would be fair to say from the quantity of these that I've seen in use, that a bad solder joint is the exception not the norm.
