Gens ace 6S 3300mah on discount for today only!

Question for those of you who did get in an order!

Did you get shipping confirmation yet? I got an email yesterday saying that the lipos were out of stock from "updated inventory" and offering me the 3800mah instead (fair enough I guess, but the 3800 is just a smidgen too big for the 600 Pro.

Just curious if anyone here got their order fulfilled already? I'm told that they won't have more of the 3300 until April now!

I ordered just after your original post and got the same message yesterday saying it was out of stock. I didn't want to put 3800 in my 600 Pro either so i just asked for a refund. Shame, but i guess i will just wait for the new 60C packs which should be out soon.

Did you get your refund, I didn't. said they were looking into it. They'd better get my money back to me bloody sharpish, they took it knowing they were out of stock.

No it hasn't come through yet. I'm pretty annoyed too, they must have known they were out of stock when i ordered it.

I'm sure you'll get the money back... Shame they seem to have a useless stock checking system!

I'll probably just wait till April myself... I'm not in a rush for more batteries and since they were so cheap it would be a shame to cancel and then buy again at full price later.

I'm sure I will, in fact I know I will. At the end of the day they shouldn't take your money without knowing that what you're ordering is in stock, they take it quickly enough, then they should return it as soon as it is requested not say that they will look into it. Yes it's a great price, anyone can advertise lipos at half that price then say that they haven't got them in stock but offer a less popular alternative that they have loads of. A bit cycnical I know but I'm no-ones friend when it comes to my cash that I've worked for.

Yeah I can understand where you are coming from.... At least they offered a more expensive battery in exchange I suppose but most people buy the specific battery they need so I doubt they had too many takers there.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume they had problems with their stock indications... But it shouldn't really happen these days of live stock counting systems! Bit of a poor show really.

I hope they get you your refund quickly! You are quite right, it shouldn't need "looking into" it should just be done.

Strange timing but I just now got an email from electriflyer.co.uk saying the 6S 3300mah is in stock... I can't vouch for the store as I've never used them, but here's the link

Price is only around a tenner more than the discounted price was anyway, although that's still almost an extra 40 quid over 4 packs!

I don't know whether to hang on to my order with Gens Ace and wait a month or so for them to get stock in april, or whether to cancel and order from here. Unfortunately I suspect the stock won't last long! These packs never hang around it seems.

Repeated emails to Gens Ace with no reply, they haven't returned my money so have opened a dispute with PayPal. Guys beware, although my first order was supplied with no issue whatsoever and really good service

Looks like they dropped the ball this time! I might just cancel and order from electriflyer - at least he's supremely quick to answer my emails lol.
