Something makes me think that , the answer will be Kontronik even for the guys who may not fly Kontronik purely down too the expense of Kontroniks products compared too others.

My is more money=performance/peace of mind.
Like apple vs pc apple over priced but it give the chance to run both OS. If make sense.

Come back on the esc I read a lot of good think about the yge.

Motor wise the most powerful ATM is the scorpion

Having run both motors I can say Kontronics are better in terms of efficiency than scorpions and produce as much power but stay cooler. In fact I would say that scorpions are a little over rated IMO and I rate them similar to Align motors.

I have never run a yge, but Kontronic escs are by far the best UI have ever used.

I have 5 jives and 2 Align esc's.

The Align ones are much better because I hate Red.

No I have to admit I can only compare some of the older scorpions... Think the last I had was a 4035-(something) in a logo 600.

No 10000 watts vs 5000 watts.

They are too different and do different things.

The 4525 has a continuos rating of 4450w with a peak of 10000w for 2 secs. The Kontronik has a continuos of 3000w but I have never seen them publish a max rating, would be interested in this.

However Kontronik are a superior motor, having used many different Scorpions and both 700-xx Kontroniks they are better, they feel more powerful than the equivalent Scorpion and are more efficient regardless of published figures!

Esc's well do I really need to say. Up until recently there has been only one. Now you have the YGE and more recently the newer range of the Scorpions which are supposed to be excellent too so Kontronik could be losing their crown??
