Whatever fits Phil, the capacity is up to you. It just won't last as long, a word of warning though, I got 2 LiFe packs yesterday and they're heavy. 2300Mah

I'd bank on around 3-400mah per flight.

My 600le takes out around 500mah perflight (very hungry),
I personally would look for something around 2000-3000mah

The 450mah will be right on the limit of one flight per pack. Aim bigger Phil

Might be worth putting a low voltage alarm on the battery. An average of 5 amps is a lot.

hyperion 2100 fits lovely under the battery tray, mines velcro'd in place with one of the main flight pack straps round it too.you will probably only use up to 200mah per flight till you can fly like jamiem, which will be a long way off yet

With LiFe packs when that goes off it will probably be too late. It is one of the features / draw back to these batteries, they give there capacity at a very constant voltage and then the output drops very quickly. I far as I know the only way to use these is to have a flight then re-charge to see how much has been used and do the calculation on number of flights.

Phil, I think you're missing the point. You asked about LiFe not LiPo. I wouldn't run lipo unregulated and those packs you're pointing at are too small to be any use to anyone I'm afraid. You can use them but you'll get one flight or so.
