spektrum dx7s and flight sims set ups?

evening all (i said id be asking questions)

Ok just bought myself a shiny new spektrum dx7s (love it)
However cant seem to get it to be recognized in clearview(or windows for that matter(tx is fine just set it up on the mcpx)
Looking around for answers cant seem to find any,i can use my old tx on clearview no probs so not the end of the world if i cant suss it but would like to try the tx out on the sim
have tried tx in both areo and heli configs

Trying to get to grips with the tx its a lovely bit of kit imo and have so far got my mcpx set up and flying so i can @ least fly something tomoz.

Also stripped out my old ar 6200 out of the 500 as im going to be using the new ar8000 in that instead,let the fun begin,also now is the perfect time to get the gp780 off the boom block(i know, i know) and shift it to the bottomplate ,tail used to hold fine but did struggle on quick climb outs.
Aint willing to give up on the gyro yet .

This may sound wierd, but have you left the remote "off" when you plug it into your simulator because when the remote detects a sim is plugged into it, The remote turns itself on but doesnt activate the 2.4ghz moduel, its silly but it has cought people out before, if you turn the remote on and plug it in any simulator wont recognise the remote is presant.

Jas, if you get it working with Phoenix can you upload the DX7s settings somewhere ? or email them to me?

Unfortunately i will be of no use m8,im using the clearview sim not phoenix.
Hi think im on the right lines though when i say i think its something to do with the slave/master settings(though don't quote me on that lol)
Take it you have seen trex deanos post above though? where he makes a very good point about the on off switch,if i get my sim working ill let you know though today im gonna concentrate on getting it set up for "my real" helis.

Shaggy, for dx7/phoenix just set the following settings in the remote as this....


Model type: helicopter
alll travel adjusts : 100%
pitch curve in every mode:0 25 50 75 100 (how it will be anyway )
Throttle curve...
normal is 0 25 50 75 100
ildle up 1 / 2 ... 100 100 100 100 100

d/r - 100%
expo - 0%
