Lipo Batterys

My first encounter with a Hot and puffy 1c 3,7v MCPX Batt.
First it got put into a lipo bag to cool down before checked it out.
It was still puffy? after a little squeeze the puffy batt went back to norm size!!
I then put it back to Recharged keeping a very close eye on it. everything was OK!
Now its fully charged & working back to norm. My question is why did it do this in the first place,

Any info will help me understand more

It went wrong lol, tbh throw it away. It could go up, granted that size lipo is only going to fart in a lipo sack but it cold melt tour heli. Just throw it away to play safe

Yeah, don't use it... One for disposal that one methinks.

Over discharging is the most likely culprit... That will puff up a lipo very quickly.
