  • Benefits from Trex 500 EFL FBL over Trex 500E ?

Which one is better, apart from the fact one is flybarless ?

    Thanks

Trex 500e : more plastic parts (head and tail etc), belt drive
Trex 500EFL: mostly metal parts, TT drive.

Obviously the 500e pro will be better than the 500e, but the parts on the 500e are most likely to be cheaper as they're plastic. Also the belt drive on the 500e is more forgiving with tail in landings.

Id say if you go FBL get a 500efl, and if you go FB then get either a 500e, or a second hand ESP (not an e pro).

All of the above plus a longer flight time,,
Went out over the w/end and despite the cold and windy weather clocked up 4 flights- run time 5 mins at 95% flatline leaving according to my battery checker 39% remaining !!! ,, this is with Turnigy Blue pack 6s 3000mah and 13T pinion.
