  • Glass fibre blades

Just been trying out my trex500 vbar and I am very please infact I pushed myself a little far and crashed. It's not to bad but I need new main blades. I have glass fibre ones and was wondering if they would do for now.

    Why not?

I used to use GF blades all the time.

Alright, not up to full-on 3D (which I can't do anyway) but quite ok for normal flight.

They are a bit more flexible that carbon so more chance of a boom strike if pushed, but much cheaper and the flexibility does add a bit of damping to collective. Nowt wrong with them if you're learning or not stick-bashing.
    Happy Landings.
