I have flown many many different blades and I personally prefer the New Torsion Solid baldes more than any other. Ther very crisp and quick and really make the heli feel alot lighter. I hightly recomend anyone to give them a try.

I'm not at the stage where it matters tha much! as long as they spin without coming to bits, don't cause the poor thing to vibrate like something dimented can be balanced and track ok then they 'll do.

Im using the HK composite blade on a 450 and a 500 and they fly just fine but I am only learning still and am only at the circuit stage, so my comment prolly means nothing. but at £2.40/set for the 450 and £4.82 for the 500 size you can't be off these, particularly if your'e just learning where blade strikes are normal.

That being said, Chris Jones on this forum did hard 3D my 450 last weekand the blades were just fine though obviously not up to the standard of more upmarket sets.

I use Align on my FB 600 size and cheapie HK on my 450 size heli, like them both. I wont dare use cheap blades on the 600 and equally dont think my flying is up to spending north of £70 on set for the 600.

ive Edge Radix and align on my helis at the moment.

When I started out I had trouble autoing with Radix although got that sussed now. im trying edge while im playing with this fbl malarky but like Jamie I think the align are hard to beat at the price.

I used to use maniacs, absolutely fantastic for learning autos give you miles more time than other makes, but the backup service on them absolutely sucks so wont use them any more.
          All the best

Align 690 on the 700s, stock 325 on the 450 as they work perfectly with the V-bar, with high-end servos.
The main deciding factor is they cause less bogging on cyclic, as they are light. And readily available when you need them, and cheap besides.

Only have FB 450 and 500. Align 425D's are wicked all rounders, but I do did like Radix 430's- nice and smooth but less aggressive than the Aligns IMO.

325D's on the Pro are great, but I'm a massive fan of the Thunder Power 325's- best blade I've tried on the 450.

I have radix on my 50 and align on my 90, however I voted align as I can't notice any performance difference (at my skill level anyway) and they're cheaper.

There was no spin blades option... I fly the Matt blacks on my rave(very nice indeed) and the 620's on the fusion which will be swapped for a pair of 610matt blacks when they get imported . I've flown align, radix, torsion, sab, nhp, edge, spin and v-blades of all different weights and sizes. I loved loved loved the v-blades on my align 600 especially.

All the premium brand blades are are pretty good IMO.

I'll put my vote on NHP Blades as I'm sponsored by them.

                      Made in the UK.
Excellent blade and extremely good value for money.
Never had any issues tracking or unbalanced blades.

Plus the guy that makes them actually fly's helicopters and knows what he is talking about.

I use Align 3G's mostly, they are reasonably priced and perform well, also using RJX Flybarless, again a reasonable price and they fly well.

Ive allways used align blades as they seem up to my flying style and are a good price. I did treat my 450 to some radix mains and edge tails once but smashed them both off on the day of install lol so i diddnt get much of a chance to test em properly. I always buy align 3g carbons now as they serve their purpose well. As far as balance goes i cant comment as ive never balanced a set of blades in my life, i just go for the tracking then fly em.
