SABs and Edges on my mini, definitely prefer Edges but mostly because they are FBL and slow this mental machine down.

Radix V2 on TDR but I didn't fly that yet, so no opinion.

    Stock on mcpx, lol

I fly Radix, Spin, Edge and Rotortechs.

Why, radix are just good all round, Edge came with a Heli, spins cos I wanted to try them and Rotortechs cos they are actually the best I have used and while I appreciate they are expensive the finish is second to none and they look by far the best blade going

        I think you missed my best mate off - N H P

NHP coz I tend to get a good deal and they fly fine for me. Plus I really like the carbon weave in the blades (SAD !!!)

Same as you realy Jamie I've recently tried edge blades & they do give me a locked in feeling but I'm thinking this has only been in conjunction with the vbars I've also just put on.
I'm an align fanboy though & the price difference between align & edge is far to much so I will be going back to my align D style blades happy in the knowledge that they are cheep & look prety cool with the carbon twill weave inlay on solid white.

I run Edge 603's on my Logo and really like them. Also run 693's on my 90 size machines. Plenty of pop, nice balance between responsiveness and stability plus they look cool

Saying that, nowt wrong with Align range of blades either. I've flown both extensively and tbh you can't go wrong with either.

                Cheers

I have used Aligns and Radix's, and i'm currently on Spin and Edge blades.

Can't say my flying is too a point where i notice the difference between blades, but i like the sound the spin ones make and price is reasonable so i'll be using them from now on, until my flying shows a weakness in them that can be improved with a different brand/design.

                  Thanks

Ive tried most normal brands and found Edge blades suit me the most.......a VERY close second are Maniacs...they feel very similar but are less efficient and reduce flight time abit....

This makes me think again about how it would be great if there was a way to try some of these blades before buying. If a shop or distributor would offer some kind of 'try before you buy' on DH, Rail, Gryphon, Edge etc. with a used pair of 690s / 700s I'd happily pay the postage each way to be able to try them out (especially if I could try a couple different types of blade for the one postage cost).

Part of the problem is I am the odd one out still flying with a flybar on my bigger helis, and my clubmates are almost all FBL and mostly fly Edge blades.

Right now I am very optimistic about the SAB 208s I have and I'll try them as soon as time allows and the weather behaves. I also have a new pair of trusty NHPs I got at Skyline over the Christmas sales. I like the sound of these new Rail blades if they'll get the FB versions out there.

i fly the cheapest decent blades i can find when i need the as im not a brilliat pilot and still get it wrong quite often, so spending £70 upwards for new blades that will eat dirt within a dozen flights is not an option.

Upto now I think i have tried all the big brands, I fitted a set of EDGE 693fbl to the 700 last week only had 3 flights but im not sold on them YET(edge tails are awesome though). I really liked the Mavrikks I unfortunatly snapped two weeks ago. So far on the 700 the best blade for it is the Align 690fb blades they do it all and are a great price.

On the 600 again i tried em all but mainiacs and the std bbt's are great, I currently have the black align blades on the 600n only until i break em then im gonna get mainiacs back on.

I have flown torsions, jp, bbt, nhp's and radix ... For my flying style its a choice between radix and bbt's .. Have just got some maniacs to try so will know more in a few more flights whether or not I like them ... Never tried aligns but need to buy some more blades soon for my spare machine am rebuilding lol...I did like my torsions though .... but after seeing some of the QC issues I dont think I will be buying anymore

The results are as expected I guess, Align out in front, but I'm surprised how many use the premium brands! Thought times were meant to be tough!

I would buy aligns only trouble is I have only just got a 700, just not cricket putting them on a raptor and having ALIGN written in big letters down the blades......
