Scale all the way! Just watch the spectators at Charmouth! As soon as anything interesting fires up on the scale line, all the spectators immediately move up there!

See one 3D flight, and you've seen them all!

No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.

I like looking at Scale models & can appreciate the work & effort that went into them but I have zero interest in flying them. I like a mix of big air, 3D & Smackdown purely because a flight of any 1 of those can get boring quickly but if you mix them together then imo it looks far better

3D - There are many different styles of 3D.

Scale helis are amazing to watch.

It's good to watch all kinds of flying really.

My brother is full on scale & I'm full on 3D & when we meet up he can't see the point in 3D as he likes to show off with his scale heli's therefore I cant see point in scale when I can show off with 3D heli's
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

              Scale.

Personally, 3D leaves me cold. But to watch a nice scale model being flown well is a great sight.

I have a Bell 47 that I really want to be able to fly well. This year's ambition.

What's the difference between casual flying and sport flying? I know that 3D is fancy pants flip flops and so forth.

I really want to progress this year to some proper 3d. Just about mastered inverted hover in all orientations.
I also think scale is great and am in the middle of a 600 size seahawk build at the moment with four bladed head and tail.

Anything to do with helis...its all good in my book :-)

Scale can be cool, remember a huge Bell Huey we watched a few yrs ago, well impressive doing low smooth passes.
I used to fly a converted Gasser predator in a scale MD530 camouflage, regret bitterly selling it..

Long as it's a heli.....who cares ? All styles are great to watch and give the relevant buzz to the flier. Secretly though I'm partial to scale.

Sport to 3d for me but scale is just as hard to fly to make it look smooth.
