Can you buy align Allen driver handles?

So over the last few uses I've noticed one of my align Allen drivers getting a bit useless. When id do a screw up, and pull it out of the allen bolt - it would leave the actual driver part behind - so I was left just holding the handle.

A little tighten of the grub screw made it work again.

This became more and more frequent from 1 in 5 uses to every time I turn the handle. I think the thread is stripping for the grub screw. Can I buy another handle or just a single driver?

Check the thread in the handle, and that the grub screw hasn't worn away.

If all is fine, use loctite to hold it in place.

... and you can't buy just the handles.

You could try grinding/filing a flat spot on the shaft and using threadlock on the grubscrew to see if that would hold it or just replace thet individual driver

I find the grub screws come undone frequently. Or at least they did. A drop of red loctite and I've not had one come loose since

I did loctite it several times. I think it's just the threads worn somehow. WHere can I buy singles?

Is it the small 1.5mm one? Mine did the same thing until someone at the field borrowed it and snapped it lol. I just bought this instead: Hex Hardened 1.5mm extra long A-2078 - Tools - ALIGN-TREX.co.uk

Well actually, the one I bought was (unfortunately) pink, but it came with a philips end also so you can swap between the two.

if the thread is buggered could you get the next size up grub screw and drill/tap the hole?

Mine always came loose until I used Loctite, but you said that you have already tried this.

Fast Lad have also just added a lot of Hudy Tools Allen drivers, good quality but expensive.
