    i feel a bit dumb asking this one, but if i reverse the setting in the transmitter ie, channel 3, does it just make the lowest position on the stick (o) become full power and the highest position then becomes zero stick

      That's what it does... depending on the setup, you may need to reverse the throttle... as I found out the first time I started my 700. I had the head gripped tightly, so luckily, it only cost me a clutch liner!

            its not a new one just trying to get my head round an on going problem ive had for a while,, clearly didnt solve it though lol

                i have put a thread on here regarding this issue, think its titled ieadle up, but basically i can only get the heli to go into ideal up mode when the throttle stick is at its lowest ie zero and its my understanding it should activate from mid position and upwards, this was the case before i carried out a reset of the transmitter..
