Second that on both counts. Bristol has lacked dedicated heli store support for a few years now.

All my heli needs are met on line now. Lacks the instant gratification/convenience factor, but you can get what you want, not what is in stock locally.

No service with a smile in harpers,more of a general model shop tbh.
Hobby hanger is ok for its size.Quick uk has a shop too which is nr Pewsey,oj not in brizzol but probably the closest dedicated heli store.Budd has many suppliers and can get most items in for you

Als hobbies is good for eflight Kits eg mcpx (good prices) and batteries. They are a general hobby store so they dont stock any specialist heli bits, but I think they do have Raptors?

Personally I have found Al's Hobbies lacking in every conceivable way. Poor stock, poor service, parking isn't great either!

Although I live less than 3 miles from Als, I would walk ten times are far over burning tarmac before I put another penny in their coffers.

I concur with Bladestriker's other comments. If you're going to visit a heli shop from Bristol, best fill up your car with fuel and get the sat nav out. I didn't realise Quick UK were in Pewsey, that's useful to know.

Quick are open on Saturdays till 4pm,you can reserve on the website and collect in person.
Parking is not a problem either

Im just 13 miles away which is dead handy but also expensive,cant take it with you to the coffin lol
