  • Align 3gx or Mikado vbar 4.0

Hi guys and gals I have been flying now for sometime but just got into the flybarless scene and I am trying to get some opinions I have a 700E and a 550E both are flybarless super combos and I am finding the 3gx a pain to set up its either really docile or really twitchy no in between unless you have a degree in physics I have recently bought a second hand v-bar but its an older version it has a sliver gyro and its on version 4.0 I think also that's the furthest it can be upgraded i have looked into the v-stabi website and it looks pretty impressive everyone is raving about it but i just wondered if anyone could give me there opinions please .

You are right the old silver sensor v bar is limited to v4.

Thinking back what v4 flew like, great as it was I think the 3gx would be the better system of the two.

Although v4 isn't exactly hard to set up its nothing like as straightforward as the new v bar software or the 3gx.

V-Bar V4 flew great with not massive flying differences to the current version (the software is much better now, and ok it does fly better now) for me, but if not Beast X.

v-bar v1.2 is better than 3gx, but in all seriousness never flew v4 but hated the 3gx and found similar issues you described, so i would still choose vbar.

I'm the same, my 3gx 450 was either a gnat on crack or a super docile trainer. I couldn't get a smooth set up, same model on mini vbar is just perfect.
