What the hell happened there. Help

Hi guys thatks for all the set up help but I just scared the hell out of my sell , flying the knight on first tank and it is well locked in. I was doin some back flips , loops and rolls when the heli got into a vetical attitude with the rotar disc vertical into the wind and fed in full up elevator and nothing happened . 100 ft up turned into 50ft very quick and the only way it came out was full up elevator and full neg pitch and it basicaly stopped on a penny . Flew another 2 tanks and nothing like that happened again but it was quite windy though about 10 to 15 miles an hour at a guess , smoke was running off at about 45 deg from helli if that helps . In my eyes it wasnt to windy and surely the wind wouldn't cause this

No stuartn it is a cheap futaba ppm reciever £46 pound , I have been exsriancing poor elevator in the last few days espetualty in a nose down atatude but dont know what is causing it . Some time its fine and realy sensitive then its c**p , checked everything over last night and its flying super except this issue which nearly cost me big time this afternoon , thinking about it the back elevator is pretty poor actualy , the more fff you add the poorer it is espetualy if you find your self in a nose down atatude

Are you using PCM sounds like your heli got a lock out.

If the heli got a lock out wouldnt the failsafe on the throttle revloc10 have activated < it didnt I could still hear the os reving , lock out as in radio signal loss

Sounds like a bad servo

Checked all servos last night for movement and condition and changed them to 3010 futaba s brand new so id hope they were ok . Dont mean to shoot your sugestions down in flames . Its a matter of illimination of probable cause . Could there be a set up fault with the rotar head that could cause this

Swash is level
All arms on heli and servos are at 90 deg at mid stick 0 deg pitch
Paddles are o deg
Thunder tiger 600mm blades 2 mths old and never ground impact
There is no play on the head at all right back to the servo arms
Cant see where this cause of the prob is maybe stuartin is correct ( new reciever required ppm )

why not move 2 of the servos around just to see if it replicates. Maybe move the suspect one to the throttle if the throttle one is the same?

Hi guys had a fly again today and the same thing happened , have had a close look at the 3 servos and changed the servo arms again to longer ones (i was using the small round disc type ones before ) which were to small it would apear . Any way the problem I can see is that when i have full + pitch added and add back elevator the pitch and ail servos move to pull the swash to add back elevator but it is such a small amount that elevator is minimum , the elevator servo stays stationary . But if I drop the pitch down a few degrees eg the swash drops down the shaft 5mm or so the elevator input is good and normal so the problew lies where full pitch is in use . Its hard without you guys seeing it for real I suppose and ideas much appretiated.

All sorted out , mecanical side was all wrong and tranny was set up wrong . Getting -10 and +10 on pitch now and everything fell in to place.Will giver a dusting tommorrow at lunch . Fingers crossed Thanks for the advice guys
