Fast Lad Order Despatched, Royal Mail Fail!!!!!

I was told my order was dispatched yesterday and received no card through my door this morning...... There doesn't seem to be any consistency across the RM

I have order despatched yesterday - it didn't arrive today.Not the norm.

If the RM are so cr*p as some are stating. Lets ask our own Courier ie:millerman What would be his costing of picking up a parcel of "one main shaft" from FL or any other HS
and getting it to Thurso, Scotland and how long it would take.
So for RM we have £9 for Align shaft plus £6 next day delivery. £14appx.

So whats it cost to fetch it yourself. Thurso to FL.(Barnsley) A 1000mile round trip a 20hr drive appx ? I would think the costing works out slightly more than £6 that RM is going to charge.

I have no affiliation with RM, but having seen how in other countries you'd have to go and fetch any parcel from a Post Office which could be many miles away, don't wish that system on the UK.
There is no other carrier in the UK that has the man power and equipment able to deliver a 50p letter from a Post Office in Devon to a farmhouse in Thurso and try to do it next day.

Don't knock it too hard, because one day you may be trudging through a 50ft snow drift to a courier service miles away, because it's not cost effective to deliver to your house.

I sit back and wait for the "bunfight"

Ordered with Fastlad on Monday, Special delivery, and was with me before 11am this morning. With RM it's just pot luck if it arrives on time, or at all, but mostly it's fine.

Id happily pay 20% more for a reliable service ? ? The best trick is when they put a card through and you open the door and they haven't got the parcel anyway !!!
