Hi guys sorry to burden you with all this c**p but im struggling with my mechanical set on my knight basicaly im getting 15 deg on full pitch and -9 deg on neg pitch , all my servos are at 90 deg when stick is at mid pisition which is set to 0 deg and ive reduced my curve to bring down the positive side to 10 deg curve is 0 25 50 65 80 . All my servo conections on ail , ele , pitch are on there iner most hole surely i dont need to reduce the curve to 80 for a proper set up and cant fathim out what the hell is wrong with the set up .

PS fitted my hiper that i got from stuartn and well delighted . Shame my helli flies like s**t..

    Regards Jamie

sounds like you have the pitch trim nob enabled and not centred

this will adjust the pitch at mid stick but not the top/bottom

ok manuals are the same for the 2.4 and 35mhz more or less.

your right there is no pitch nob like the old 6xh had.

reset your pitch curve back to default. look at the mixer arms on the flybar carrier they should be slighly below horizontal at mid stick so the angle from the pushrod up to the swash to the mixer arm is 90degs. if this isnt right then it will give you the non linear pitch your seeing.

once you have that right adjust the short links from the mixer arms up to the blade grips to give you zero pitch in the middle.

I had the exact same issue setting up Mrs Leeberts Sport and it was just what Ade has said.
The length of the long and the short links to the blades and therefore the angle of the mixer arms are quite critical it would seem. I found that setting the mixer arms as stated in the manual (ie mixer arms 90 deg to blade grip short links) gave me a non equal pitch curve. Once I had ignored the manual and did what Ade said I had a nice 10.5 - 0 - 10.5 pitch range.

Y' know, he's really quite good at this heli lark is Ade
                  Cheers, Lee.

Thanks very much for the info guys and I have checked it all over with a fine tooth combe , changed the 3 servos on swash cos they were having movement where the servo arm pushes on to it . The mixing arms are 90 deg to push rod about 5 deg down of level and checked all push rod lengths . There was interaction on the swash that i have illiminated by fitting some 3010 futaba servos and i have changed the tranny mixing on the swash to 90% ail , 90% pitch , -90% elev which i hope is ok . I have now +11 and - 9 on pitch which will do me just now . Ill try it tommorrow but i did have a fly today before i did all this and tryed a loop and the heli kept falling off at the top which i was hoping the interaction was the cause but tommorrow will tell .

90% is very high, how long are your servo horns?

Think ive sorted it out ade , evened out my pitch to 10+ 10- on the mecanical side and reduced epa to 100% on pitch elev ail servos , reduced afr % to 60% all round and there is good movement all round and ill try it tommorrow at lunch
