  • ALIGN 550e replacement part need advice

my align 550e v2 is pretty much complete in 1 day

problem with the build on the rear tail the bearing collar where you screw in the ball stripped out, not happy.

Im looking for a replacement collar but as there are no part numbers in the manual im stuck and can only find this part online...

    Metal Bearing mount H60195 - Align T-Rex Spares align trex 600 - ALIGN-TREX.co.uk

thing is it looks different as where the ball goes in its bulked out rather than a round collar.
also printed on it is 50t 235, but mine says 50t 235A

can anyone clear it up for me as i need this part to complete the build

if I go in anymore than half way with this it pushes the collar making the friction to high that it wont slide back and forth easily. I cant understand how so much pressure can withstand on a thread 2mm thick and only half in :-/

                very concerned about it failing.

there is a metal upgrade available

                  http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/h60077a_metal_tail_pitch_assembly-p-15320.html

just be careful not to put too much loctite on the thread of the ball link as it can leak into the 2 radial bearings which sit inside the bearing mount

That's the part I'm talking about

I have put a spare servo arm nut between the ball and this has really helped.
